Sulfadimidin sodium equivalent to 200 mg base, 40 mg trimetophrim
It is administered via slow intravenous route in horses, intramuscular and slow intravenous route in cattle, intramuscular, intravenous and subcutaneous route in cat and dog. Pharmacological dose is 16-24 mg/kg and daily practical dose is 1 ml/10-15 kg bw for cattle and horses; 1 ml/15 kg bw for cats and dogs.
