COMPOSITION

300 mg florfenicol

USAGE AND DOSAGE

The recommended pharmacological dosage of Florsym Solution for Injection is 20 mg/kg live weight for cattle and sheep and the practical dosage is 1 ml/15 kg live weight, twice at a 48-hour interval, 40 mg/ kg b.w. (2 ml/ 15 kg b.w. s.c. in cattle only)

INDICATIONS

Florsym Solution for Injection is indicated for the treatment of the infections caused by florfenicol-sensitive bacteria. It is indicated especially for the treatment of respiratory system infections (Bovine Respiratory Disease – BRD) caused by Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, Histophilus somni and other florfenicol-sensitive microorganisms, foot rot caused by Fusobacterium necrophorum and Prevotella melaninogenica, foot pathologies of bacterial origin such as interdigital necrobacillosis and infectious pododermatitis, infectious keratoconjunctivitis (pink eye) caused by Moraxella bovis.

Meat: 39 days (sheep), 30 days (i.m. Cattle), 44 days (s.c. cattle). Not to be used in animals producing milk intended for human consumption
